Gail Ann Moormann, formerly of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Wednesday morning, April 12, 2023, in the Willow Haven Nursing Home in Tonkawa at the age of 72 years.

Gail Ann Moormann was born on October 25, 1950, in Blackwell to John N. and Melvina W. (Stewart) Hoover. She grew up in Blackwell and attended Blackwell Public Schools. Following her education she married David Moorman. She worked in housekeeping at the Days Inn in Blackwell for many years. She later worked as a spot welder for A.S.C. in Ponca City. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blackwell and also attended the First Baptist Church in Newkirk. She enjoyed the outdoors, including boating and riding in the Razor. She also loved to play Solitare.

She is survived by a daughter, Laura Prince of Blackwell; two sons, Ricky Moormann of Blackwell and Scott Barrows of Newkirk; a sister, April Proctor of Blackwell; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by he parents; a son, John Moormann; and a sister, Jeanette Glass.

A private family memorial service is planned at a later date.
