Obituary for Frances Sebring

Frances Sebring, resident of Ponca City, OK, passed away October 5, 2014. She was 70.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 9, 2014, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Mike Sweetman officiating with burial ceremony at Odd Fellows Cemetery immediately following.

Frances was born on May 9, 1944 to Leonard and Ruth Drake in Sydney, Australia. She was later adopted by Avis Hauser. Fran grew up in Ponca City and graduated from Po-Hi in 1962. She retired from Conoco Oil after almost 30 years of service. She then later worked at Merrifield Office Supply for another ten years.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeri Casey-Nash and her husband JD of Ponca City; sister, Louise Thompson-Garrett and husband Jim of Mustang, OK; brother, Rocky Drake and wife Linda of Yukon, OK; and step-brother, Ray Hauser of Ponca City. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Kacey Hogan, great-grandson, Hayden Misiura, of Ponca City, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Fran was preceded in death by father, Leonard Drake; mother, Avis Hauser; step-father, Earnest Hauser; and nieces Donna Callison and Lisa Patchen.

Pall Bearers will be Steve Thompson, Gary Thompson, Toby Denton, Steve Hendricks, Lance Hogan and John Goeppinger.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 1901 N. Union, Ste 103, Ponca City, OK 74601.
