Obituary for Doris Disney

Doris (Betts) Disney, 89, of Ponca City, OK, died Sunday, August 17, 2014. A service will be held 10:00 am Thursday, August 21, 2014, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel. A burial will follow at White Cemetery in Hunter, OK.

Doris was born July 26, 1925, to Ernest F. and Mavourleene (McGill) Betts in LaFeria, TX.

On January 14, 1945, she married Jack Fletcher Disney in LaFeria. The couple moved to Lincoln, NE in July 1953. They made their home there until August 2013, when they moved to Ponca City, OK.

She loved to read and help wherever she could.

Doris is survived by her husband Jack, children, Michael and Janis Disney, of Houston, TX. Deborah and David Schaller of Ponca City, OK. Betts Disney of Novato, CA. Denise and John Hoehne of Eagle, ID. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
