Donald Ray Williams, resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away May 25, 2014. He was 35. A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, May 31, 2014, at PowerHouse of Christian Faith Center in Ponca City. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home and Crematory.
Donald Ray Williams was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma July 3, 1978, to Helen Chambray and Michael Williams. D-Ray graduated from Ardmore High School in 1997.
He was loved by family and friends, especially his daughter TaShena Washburn and granddaughter Isabella. D-Ray loved people and was always joking around. He also loved to sing and was always on the move. D-Ray never met a stranger because he was always entertaining the crowds. He enjoyed reading, loved transformers, and sports.
D-Ray is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jessie and Emmer Chambray, Cornelius and Janette Williams; Aunts Emmer Gene Butler, Shirley Logan, Beverly Chambray, Ann K. Mathis; uncles, Earnie Williams, Jimmy Chambray, Winston Chambray, and Jonnie Chambray.
D-Ray departed this life and left to cherish his loving memories is his mother, Helen Sterling, father, Michael Williams, sister Tasfay Chambray, nephew Dee Chambray, daughter TaShena Washburn, granddaughter Isabella Rodrigues, Aunt Mayola Jones, Uncle Jessie Chambray, Uncle Larry Chambray, and a host of other relatives and friends.
