Dolton Allen Timberlake

March 14, 1934 – August 19, 2021

Dolton Allen Timberlake, resident of Ponca City, OK, passed August 19, 2021. He was 87 years old.

Dolton was born to parents Bloyce Edward Timberlake and Essie (Dickerson) Timberlake on March 14, 1934, in Davidson, OK. He grew up in Tipton and attended Tipton High School. He married Bobbie Marie Porter on October 8, 1955, at First Christian Church in Ponca City. Together, they had two children, Karen and Rick. Dolton worked as a head operator for Conoco Refinery and retired after 27 years. He had been an Elder and Deacon at Community Christian Church. He also loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoyed working in the yard and woodworking. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Dolton is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bobbie Timberlake of Ponca City, OK, daughter, Karen Zinn and husband, Dennis of Piedmont, OK, granddaughter, Audrey Zinn of Piedmont, OK, and grandson, Evan Zinn of Piedmont, OK.

He is preceded in death by his parents Bloyce and Essie Timberlake, son Rick Allen Timberlake, two brothers, and two sisters.

A public viewing will be held at Trout Funeral Home in Ponca City on Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. His graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Monday, August 23, 2021, at Resthaven-Sunset Memorial Parks in Ponca City, OK.
