Delores "Dee" I. Pameticky
(May 5, 1935 – November 19, 2015)
Delores Ione “Dee” Pameticky of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, November 19, 2015, at her daughter’s home in Oklahoma City at the age of 80 years.
Delores Ione Hansen was born on May 5, 1935, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, to Jacob and Clara (Hillestad) Hansen. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1953. On July 30, 1966, she married Harvey Pameticky in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Following their marriage she helped her husband operate the Lamont Hardware Store, before moving to Blackwell where they owned and operated Pam’s Hardware Store. Dee was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Blackwell.
She is survived by a daughter, Beverly (Pameticky) Mann and husband Steve of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two sons, Robert Pameticky and wife Sharon of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Tye Pameticky and wife April of Wichita, Kansas; a sister, Beverly Wenzel of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin; ten grandchildren, Bridget DeNoya, Sarah Pattison, Eric Pameticky, Cory McMullin, Shea Ware, Amy Watkins, Jeff Mann, Chuck Mann, Leia Pameticky and Mara Jade Pameticky; and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; her parents; a brother, Jack; and two sisters, Carol Mae and Arlene.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 23rd in the First United Methodist Church in Blackwell with Rev. Tony Pameticky of Severy Baptist Church in Severy, Kansas, and Rev. Cap McIlnay of First United Methodist Church in Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Lamont Cemetery in Lamont, Oklahoma.
Casketbearers will be Eric Pameticky, Cory McMullin and Brandon DeNoya. Honorary casketbearers will be the Lamont Legionnaires.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the First United Methodist Church Wednesday Night Meals or the Wheatheart Nutrition Center in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
