Delma Louise Jackson

July 31, 1919 – November 15, 2019

Delma Louise Jackson, long-time Ponca City resident, died Friday, November 15, 2019 at Via Christi Village. A private burial was held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Odd Fellows Cemetery, under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be no memorial service.

Delma was born in Foraker, Oklahoma, the fifth of seven children of J.L. and Lillie (Clampitt) Huffstutter. She spent most of her life in Ponca City, graduating from high school and working for many years for Conoco.

In 1943, Delma and Paul M. Jackson were married and after Paul’s military service, lived in Ponca City during their 61 years together.

Delma is survived by a sister, Edith Shreck of Blackwell, Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews.
