Obituary for Declan Giebel

Declan Alexander Giebel went to be with his heavenly father on May 15, 2015 with his parents by his side. Declan was born on May 15, 2015 to Michael David Giebel and Kayla Marie Bookout. He will be missed dearly by his loving family and friends.

Declan is survived by his parents Michael and Kayla; one sister Peyton Giebel of Ponca City, OK; his maternal grandparents, Buddy "Poppy" and Serena Bookout "Grammy" of Ponca City, OK; paternal grandparents, William C. Giebel "Papa" and his wife Elizabeth of Ponca City, OK; paternal grandmother, Kathy Broo "Nana" of Ponca City, OK; maternal great grandparents, Al Morris and wife Donna of Fort Smith, AR; paternal great grandparents, William K. Giebel and wife Diana of Broken Arrow, OK, Phyllis Weir of Sapulpa, OK; aunts and uncles, William R. Giebel and Ashley of Ponca City, OK, Michael "Gene" Bookout of Ponca City, OK, April Bookout and Micky Dowell of Newkirk, OK, Loretta Best and Ed of Lahoma, OK, Christina Bookout of Newkirk OK, Calvin Bookout and Heather of Ponca City, OK Billy Bookout and Desiree Ehler of Ponca City, OK, Kimberly Bookout and Joshua Vannoy of Ponca City, OK, SSgt Sean Cain of USMC San Diego, CA, Joseph Braun of Ponca City, OK, Jake Grimes of Stillwater, OK, and by numerous cousins.

A funeral service for Declan will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Mark Bush officiating. Following the service, a burial will take place at Resthaven Memorial Park in Ponca City, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home and Crematory.
