Obituary for David Overman

David D. Overman, age 58, resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away December 23, 2014.

The service will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, December 27, 2014 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church with Reverend Robert Montgomery officiating. Casket bearers will be Matt Overman, Nick Morgan, Danny Morgan, Jeff Overman, Connor Overman, and Richard Wedman. Honorary casket bearers will be Cub Kennedy, Dave Hall, and Steve Lathan. Burial will take place at a later date at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

David was born on May 27, 1956 in Topeka Kansas to Darrell D. and Barbara Ann Barraclough Overman. He was a caring and kind man, regularly looking out for the needs of others. He enjoyed his Harley-Davidson and tinkering with clocks, amongst other things.

Survivors include his mother Barbara Overman, of Ponca City, son, Matt Overman of Ponca City, daughter Nicole Wedman and husband Richard of Artesia, New Mexico, sisters, Susan Morgan and husband Danny of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Janice E. Overman of Madison, Wisconsin, brother, Jeff Overman of Kansas City, Missouri, nephews, Nick Morgan, Connor Overman, and niece, Lacie Overman. He was preceded in death by his father and brothers, Steven and Clayton Overman.
