Dakota Lee Henry, 21, of Ponca City, died on July 6, 2020, in Tulsa, OK. A Funeral Ceremony will take place at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at Blackwell Tabernacle, Blackwell, OK, with Pastor Clifford Johnson officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Eddy New Home Cemetery, Deer Creek, OK. Viewing will be 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M., Monday, July 13, 2020, at Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, Ponca City.

Dakota was born July 31, 1998, in Blackwell, to Paulette Swanson and Larry Henry. He loved all animals, enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. His family was very important to him. His daughter was his world!! Telling jokes and cutting up with his family, and brothers were special to him as well.

He is survived by his mother Paulette Swanson and step-father, Jace, of Ponca City; father, Larry Henry of Blackwell; daughter, Meah Bradford; brothers, Blake Henry, Micah and Dusty Henry and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Linda Lorg; paternal grandparents, Don and Opal Henry; uncle, David Henry; aunts, Cheryl Eakins and Renee Munroe.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Morring, Matt Mooring, Jamie Lorg, Brandon Lorg, Brandon Swanson, and Andrew Swanson.
