Clarence Junior Oard

Clarence Junior Oard, formerly of Braman, Oklahoma, died Wednesday afternoon, February 17, 2016, in the Greenview Manor Nursing Home in Waco, Texas, at the age of 86 years.
Clarence Junior Oard was born on July 19, 1929, on the family farm in Braman, Oklahoma, to Clarence Albert and Gertie Mae (Silver) Oard. He grew up in Braman and graduated from Braman High School in 1949. Following his education he entered the United States Army where he served during the Korean Conflict. Upon his discharge he returned to Braman where he engaged in his farming operation until his retirement. He later moved to Waco to make his home. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Braman and was an avid reader.
He is survived by a brother, Gerald Oard of Braman; and a sister, Garnet Barton of Eugene, Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Warren and Bill Oard; and two sisters, Evelyn Oard and Irene Bridwell.
A graveside service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Monday, February 22nd in the Braman Cemetery.
