Cindy Ann Holloway

February 1, 1965 – May 26, 2017

Cindy Ann “Boxberger” Holloway 52, of Fairfax Ok passed away May 26, 2017, in her home. Cindy was born on February 1, 1965, to Janet Louise Boxberger and Lloyd Vern Boxberger in Blackwell, Oklahoma.

While attending high school, Cindy began working for Security Bank and Trust for six years and Spogo’s-Bell’s Tax Service/Uniforms for a year. Cindy graduated from Ponca City High School class of 1983. She then attended Northern Oklahoma College where she earned an Associates Of Science Degree in 1985. On June 8,1985 Cindy married Terry Holloway of Ponca City. She began working for Frontier Federal in October of 1987 and then moved to Ponca City Boat House in April 1988 where she was the head bookkeeper for five years. In November 1998, she began working for Home National Bank for a year as a Floater-Transit Operator.

On May 6, 1990, she gave birth to their first child, Chad. She then became a stay at home mom and was able to watch other children as well. On April 25, 1991 she had their second child, Amber. Being around children, loving and caring for them was her life. She lived for putting a smile on your face, making you laugh or brightening your day.

In 1994, they purchased Ponca Body and Paint. In 2006, they purchased Jay Warner Wrecker Services, where Cindy became the full time bookkeeper for both places.

In 2003, Terry and Cindy purchased land and moved out to Fairfax where they began the construction of their new home. Cindy always welcomed anyone into her home. She and Terry knew no stranger. Together, the two of them worked countless hours to make sure things were taken care of at the house, the farm and the businesses as well as taking time to invite people over for holidays, birthdays or just to have a cookout. Cindy enjoyed taking care of anyone she was around and always put others first.

Cindy has three grandchildren Coy, born July 9, 2010, Slaiton, born March 27, 2014, and Miss Tinley to be born September 11, 2017. She enjoyed playing ball, swimming, going on walks, reading a book, or getting on the floor and playing beside her grandchildren. She also enjoyed taking them for a ride around the farm on the razor.

Cindy had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She enjoyed being a host for many celebrations, which always included her cooking and sweet treats she made for holidays and birthdays. She always made you feel special whether it was a card in the mail, a little candy bag for every holiday, or a simple hug and smile in passing. Cindy will be greatly missed by every life she touched.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father and mother Lloyd and Janet Boxberger, father- and mother-in-law LeRoy and Flo Holloway and brother, Kevin Holloway.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Holloway of Fairfax, son, Chad and wife Shelby Holloway and their three children of Fairfax, daughter, Amber Feaster and husband Billy Feaster of Ponca City, brother, Faron Holloway and wife Teresa Holloway of Kalamazoo, MI, sister, Karen Limke and Jeff Limke of Yukon OK, brother, Sherman Holloway of Ponca City, brother, Carl Holloway and his wife DeeDee Holloway of Ponca City, brother, Kenneth Holloway and his wife Sally Holloway of Ponca City, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Casket Bearers will be Chad Holloway, Billy Feaster, Justin Holloway, Brad Freeman, Jeff Limke and Jacob Holloway.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Faron Holloway, Carl Holloway, Kenneth Holloway, Sherman Holloway, Jared Holloway, Cecil Villines, Billy Mulanax and Blade Mitchell.
