Cecelia McGaha of Stillwater, Oklahoma died late Wednesday evening, October 17th, 2018 in Renaissance Assisted Living Center in Stillwater at the age of 84 Years.
Cecelia McGaha was born on June 21st, 1934, in Kansas, to John and Elizabeth Hoffman. She married Delbert Loren McGaha on New Year’s Eve, 1972, in Ponca City. There she worked retail sales at Montgomery Ward. In 1976, they moved to Stillwater, where she worked in the Stillwater Elementary School’s cafeteria. She also volunteered time at Judith Karman Hospice. She was a member of the First Christian Church, where she attended the ‘3M’ Sunday School class. She enjoyed listening to music at the Stillwater Community Center, as well as in Ingalls, Perkins, Morrison, and Jennings. She loved to spend the holidays with her grand kids. She is loved and we’ll miss her sweet and gentle spirit.
She is survived by her husband; her son Tony McGugan Sr. (son of Cecelia and first husband, Kenneth McGugan) and wife Connie of Ponca City; three daughters, Murphy Sharon Yates and husband Joe of Claremore, Tami Fasgold and husband Clayton of Claremore, and Ronda Scott and husband Tom of Owasso; sixteen grandchildren, Amie Davenport and husband Randy, Jamie Keller and husband Shawn, Tony McGugan Jr. and wife Sarah McGugan, Jeff Fanning and wife Pam, Tabatha Corley and husband kevin, Navy Chief Nathan Fanning and wife Tina, Jonathan Fanning and wife Angela, Jeff Yates, Jered Yates, CJ Fasgold and wife Heather, Erica Fasgold and Kevin Shepherd, Zachary Fasgold and wife Stephanie, Dakota Ryan, Mathew Scott and wife Stephanie, Ashley Gelina and husband Zach, and Sami Coon and husband Holden; twenty two great grandchildren: Camryn, Eleanor, Lauren, Norah, Avelynn, Rylie, Brody, Elise, Lauren, Jeffrey Jr, Chad, Brooks, Brice, Lance, Colton, Jordan, Jazmyn, Tyler, Paxton, Jerica, Maverick, Jaxon; and six great-great grandchildren
She was also preceded in death by her parents; her three brothers, Jim, Melvin, and Bernard Hoffman; and two sisters, Mildred Hoffman and Rita Hoffman Horniek.
Services are scheduled for 10:30 AM, Monday, October 22nd at the First Christian Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma with Rev. John Bain officiating. Burial will follow at the Blackwell Cemetery.
