Obituary for Carroll Punches

Carroll Willeen Punches, age 82, retired Conoco secretary, resident of Ponca City, passed away July 2, 2014, at home.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Carroll was born on August 23, 1931 to Howard E. and Inez A. May in Sapulpa, OK. Carroll graduated in 1949 from Ponca City High School. She was married to Leroy Punches on April 19, 1957 in Cherokee, OK. Conoco was her place of employment for 35 years where she served as a Secretary. After retirement, she traveled, visiting her children in the various countries around the world where they lived. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Survivors include her husband, Leroy Punches; son Doug and wife Julie Punches of Ft. Worth, TX; daughter Linda and husband Gary Henry of Cairo, Egypt; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Casketbearers will be Grandsons Ross Henry, Nicholas Punches, and Charlie Punches, Brother in law Jim Beguin, and friends Jack Brantley and John Hayes.
