Carolyn Sue Waggerman

April 22, 1940 – February 2, 2018

Carolyn “SUE” (Hudsonpillar) Waggerman departed this earth for her heavenly home Friday, February 2, 2018. She was 77. Sue was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma on April 22, 1940 to Roy and Wilma (Jenkins) Hudsonpillar. She was the youngest of 2 daughters, however, her beloved sister Darleene sadly passed away 8 years later secondary to tuberculosis. On March 28, 1959 Sue married her childhood sweetheart Harold Waggerman.

Sue loved the Lord and found great joy in church, greeting Sunday mornings with hugs and smiles, and singing and worshipping the Lord. She was very artistic and creative, and enjoyed sketching, designing and sewing among other things. She loved animals and God’s beautiful creation, and lovingly passed these passions on to her children. Sue loved life – she was spontaneous and truly knew how to live and laugh and have fun. Her laugh was infectious and her smile contagious. Sue loved her children and after raising them went out into the workforce taking a job at the Bridal Boutique, where she enjoyed helping brides get ready for their special day.

She is survived by her beloved husband Harold of 58½ years and their 3 children Tony Waggerman and his wife Kelli of Ponca City, Krista (Waggerman) Reid and her husband Bobby of Ponca City, and Todd Waggerman and his wife Tracie of Enterprise, Alabama. She is also survived by her grandchildren (in birth order) Cameron Waggerman and Gina Odom of Tulsa; Amie (Reid) and Nick Heim of Oklahoma City; Cameron Reid of Nelsonville, Oh; Dillon Waggerman and Bailey of Moore; Caley Reid of Tulsa; Hannah Waggerman of Atlanta, Ga; Evan Waggerman of Stillwater; Madi Edens and Jeremy White of Ponca City; and Riley Waggerman of Enterprise, Al; and her precious great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and sister.

A celebration of life will be held at Pioneer Bible Church, 301 N 3rd St, Ponca City, Oklahoma on Wednesday, February 7th at 2 pm with interment at Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery.
