Obituary for Carol Behara

Carol Ann Behara of Ponca City, OK passed away on July 29, 2015.

Carol was born in Ponca City, OK on February 28, 1951, the daughter of Clarence and Marie (Smith) Dimmick. Carol enjoyed music and playing the cello. She loved sewing or crocheting things for friends and family. She took pleasure in spending time with her two grandchildren. After a long career with Conoco, she retired and took an auditing position with the Otoe Missouria Gaming Commission.

Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Fuess. She is survived by four more sisters, Donna (Doyle) Baer, Lois Shaw, Della Johnson, and Nina Anderson. Carol is the loving mother of three sons, Travis Behara, Cory and wife Shannon Behara, and Jason Behara. She is also survived by two beloved grandchildren, Cody Behara and Shannon Behara.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Ponca City, OK. with a burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Carol will be available for viewing at Trout Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday until 8:00 p.m, Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday 1:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m., and Monday morning before the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Edwin Fair Community Mental Health Center, 1500 North 6th Street, Ponca City, OK 74601.
