Obituary for C.E. “Bo” Lester

C.E. "Bo" Lester passed away on April 4, 2015 at 86 years of age. He was born on September 11, 1928 in Gainesville, Texas.

Bo was lucky enough to meet his wife and soulmate, Pat in Gainesville, TX and he cherished and loved her through 64 years of marriage. Together they had one son, Troy, and were proud to gain his wife, Cathy Waldron Lester as a daughter-in-law.

He started work for Conoco in 1951 as a seismologist and retired in 1985 as a draftsman. His greatest joy in his later years were his grandchildren and great grandchildren and he loved to spend his free time gardening.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, one brother, and three sisters, all of North Texas area.

Bo is survived by his wife, son, daughter-in-law, sister Valentine Moses, two grandchildren Paul Lester and Audrey Lester Grim and their spouses Juli Lester and Travis Grim, and his great grandchildren Ariel Lester, Avery Lester and Isaac Grim.

A graveside service will be 10:00 am on Wednesday April 8, 2015 at Longwood Cemetery in Ponca City with Rev. Roberta Schaffer, officiating. The services are arranged under the direction of Trout Funeral Home and Crematory.
