October 19, 1997 – December 21, 2019

Britton Lane Stacy was born October 19, 1997 in Enid, OK to Kevin and Jennifer Stacy and passed from this life on December 21, 2019.

Britton attended Deer Creek-Lamont Schools where he was active in football, basketball, track, FFA, FCA, and chorus. He graduated with the class of 2016. He was also a member of the Lamont Fire Dept.

“Britt” enjoyed sports, figure 8 racing, going to the lake, bonfires, and enjoying time with family and friends. He was always asking somebody to race or play a game; anything that was a competition was fun to Britt. He lived his life with a full throttle personality. Britton was always the first to try something new. Somehow, he always had a way to convince you that you could do whatever he talked you into. He lit up a room as soon as he walked into it. Britt was ornery, generous, loving, fun, and genuine.

Britton is survived by his parents, sister, Haley Stacy, grandparents, Rex and Jean Kay Hembree, great-grandparents, Dwaine and Donna Jean Tebow, uncles and aunts, Justin and Adrienne Hembree, Jana and Tim Wilkerson, Jason and Brandi Hembree, Ken Stacy, Karen Logsdon, and Jennifer and Jeremy Bellin, and cousins, Madison, Brendan, Jazzni, Jalee, Timbree, Teegan, Tyler, Brandon, Kolby, Dreyton, Heather, Nick, Valerie, Josh, Ashlynn, Tace, and Gunnar.

Britton was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Kenneth Stacy Sr. and Frances McQuistion.

A funeral ceremony for Britt will be held at the Lamont First Christian Church at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 27, 2019. Following the ceremony, Britt will be laid to rest at Lamont Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Tonkawa.

Casket bearers are Reed Reynolds, Andrew McKee, Jessen Hodges, Bryson Holeman, Brendan Hembree, Sean Edgar and Kolby Tebow. Honorary casket bearers are Teegan Wilkerson, Braden Morrill, Justice Circle, Cole Tolle, Dodger Monks and Breagan Tebow.

Memorial contributions may be given to the First Christian Church of Lamont, Miller EMS, or the Lamont Fire Department.
