Obituary for Brett Reedy

Brett Reedy, resident of Ponca City, OK, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014. He was 23.

The Mass of Christian Burial service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin Ratterman, officiating. Burial will then follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City, OK.

Brett was born on November 14, 1990 to John and Pam (Dempewolf) Reedy in Ponca City, OK. He was raised in Ponca City, OK. Brett graduated from Ponca City High School in 2009. He later attended Northern Oklahoma College where he received an Associate’s Degree in May 2013. He was currently attending Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK. Brett enjoyed playing sports growing up. He spent many years playing little league baseball and also was a wrestler. Brett’s passion was being outdoors, riding four-wheelers, and he loved to hunt and fish as much as possible. He had a big heart and his smile was contagious. The most important thing to Brett was family.

He is survived by his parents, John and Pam Reedy of Ponca City; sister, Jennifer Rains and her husband Eli of Stillwater; Grandparents, Joe and Carolyn Dempewolf of Ponca City; Uncle Scott Dempewolf and his wife Dana of Ardmore; Uncle, Jim Reedy and his wife Paula of Wichita Falls, TX. Cousins, Emma, Becca and Eli Dempewolf of Ardmore. He also has numerous other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Patricia Reedy.

Casketbearers will be Scott Dempewolf, Eli Rains, Jim Reedy, Mike Angle, Drew Angle, and Chris Metcalf.
