Brenda Diann Cain

May 21, 1961 – September 5, 2018

Brenda Diann Waite Cain of Ponca City, Oklahoma, was born on May 21st, 1961 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Troy and Betty Waite. Brenda went to be with the Lord on September 5th, 2018 in Ponca City. She grew up and attended Ponca City schools. She was a caregiver by trade. Brenda’s family was the most important thing on Earth to her. She will be missed by all.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018, at the Bible Baptist Church at 2:00pm, in Ponca City with Pastor David Bosworth officiating. Burial will follow at the IOOF cemetery.

Brenda married Gary Cain in August 1990. Together they raised 5 children, Cassie Moore of Ponca City, Callie Poulter and husband Ty of Ponca City, Carrie BlueBack and husband Skylar of Ponca City, Cammie Moore of Wellington, KS, and Chad Cain and wife Stephanie of Ponca City, OK. She was Nana to Troy and Kati Poulter, Shane and Carlie Fredrick, Natalie Caudill, Alek, Mason, and Jakson Wales, Aubri and Andrew Cain. Brenda is also survived by brother Danny Waite, brother Richard Waite and wife Laura. Sister Tammy Hopkins and husband Matt, and Kristy Smith. All of Ponca City. Nieces and nephews, Kelsi and Guner Smith. Kendall and Cory Waite, Kayla Bess, Jeremy Gildhouse, Preston Jones, Kaden Gildhouse, Kale and Charli Hopkins. Father-in-law Frank Cain and mother-in-law Joyce Moore.

She was preceded in death by husband Gary in 2001. Grandparents Charley and Mary Jane Waite of Lindsay, OK. RG and Fannie Webb of Lindsay, OK. Mother-in-law Vivian Cain of Ponca City. Sister-in-law Vi Ann Waite.
