April 26, 1975 – October 2, 2018
Brandon “Bing” Lee Warrior, Sr., resident of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, passed away on October 2, 2018. He was 43 years old. Traditional tribal noon feast, with services to follow, will be held at the Tonkawa Tribal Gym in Tonkawa, Oklahoma on Friday, October 5, 2018. Louis Headman, Jim White, and A.J. Carney will officiate. Burial will follow at the Ponca Tribal Cemetery.
Brandon was born to Gordon Lamar Warrior and Lois Ann LeClair Warrior on April 29, 1975 in Claremore, OK. Brandon was truly a warrior, fighting for the things that mattered the most to him. He deeply loved his children and was very proud of them. He did his best to tell his children, family, and friends he was thankful for them and he appreciated their support in his life. He will be deeply missed by so many.
Brandon grew up in Ponca City attending Ponca City Public Schools until moving to Stillwater, where he attended High School; after moving to Tonkawa in 1990, Brandon also attended school there.
Brandon enjoyed basketball in every way. LeBron James was his absolute favorite player. Not only did Brandon love watching basketball every chance he got, he also enjoyed playing and coached a traveling team and his kid’s teams. Coaching with friend and brother “Pork” brought him much joy. The two brothers were fondly called “Pork and Bing”. Among his other favorites, Brandon loved the color North Carolina blue, and his choice game at the casino, Lucky Ducky. Brandon also loved all sports, cookouts, and family gatherings.
Brandon is a Horsechief Eagle descendent. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his Parents Lois and Gordon Warrior, his sons Chantay James Sigwing, Chase Lamar Warrior, Brandon Lee Warrior, Jr and his daughters Brandee Dione Sigwing-Warrior, and Anecia Daynell Warrior. Surviving Brandon as well are his brothers Dwayne Warrior and LeRoy Enloe, and his sister, Hauli Souix Gray, grandchildren Tayja, Kyraen, A.J., Rayva, and Taylen, as well as a large extended family.
Brandon is preceded in death by two siblings brother Dwight Warrior and sister Anecia (Angie Mo) Warrior, and his grandmothers Mildred Warrior, and Elsie Green, in addition to many relatives and friends that Brandon will be reunited with.
