June 3, 1954 – July 5, 2023

Bobbey Michael Cathcart, 69, of Blackwell, OK, left this life on July 5, 2023. No viewing is scheduled at this time. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 10am, Friday, July 14, 2023, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Blackwell, with President Donaldson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Bobbey was born on June 3, 1954, in San Antonio, TX, to Robert Garland and Shirley (Bortolla) O’Kane. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He married Brenda Young on January 4, 1992, in Pleasanton, CA. He worked as a motorcycle mechanic. In his free time, he played guitars, was a collector of “stuff,” played and built Native American flutes, and most dear to him was building bikes.

Bobbey is survived by: his wife, Brenda of the home; sons, Jason Harbour and wife Faith, Christopher Quintoa and wife Emily, Jacob Cathcart and Patrick Cathcart wife Jaccie, three granddaughters; Jaymin and husband Shawn, Mayumi, and Tala, three grandsons; Isaiah, Ethan and Caleb; his two dogs Mini and Rose; and many other pets, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, and sister.
