Billie “Jody” Joan Hall Garland, 70, of Tonkawa, OK, passed away on June 12, 2024, at McBride Orthopedic Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Viewing will be from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday, June 14, 2024, at Trout Funeral Home. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Hall officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Union Cemetery in Billings, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 505 Thunderbird Rd, Tonkawa, OK, 74653.
Jody was born on May 12, 1954, at Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, IL, to Bill and Donna Hall. She graduated High School in 1972, in Des Moines, NM. Jody received a scholarship in journalism. She had multiple hobbies: crocheting, canning, gardening, reading, fishing, and caring for her grandchildren. She also took in the strays. She loved Victor and spending as much time as she could with family. She loved her boys and grandchildren with her whole heart. Remember her with love as she always did with you.
Jody is survived by: her sons, Rick Jones of Ponca City, OK, Shawn Jones and his wife, Haley, of Perry, OK, and Casey Jones and his wife, Neisha, of Tonkawa, OK; mother, Donna Hall of Blackwell, OK; significant other, Victor Conwell of Tonkawa, OK; step-daughter, Tammy Jones of Enid, OK; grandson, Ben Jones, Zack Jones, Blaze Jones; granddaughter, Keeleigh Jones; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Freida Toler and her husband, David, of Amarillo, TX, Karen Patton of Blackwell, OK, Debra Hancock, and husband Brendle of Tulsa, OK; brother, Larry Hall and his wife, Judy, of Brookshire, TX, and multiple nieces and nephews; and multiple extended family members and friends.
Jody is preceded in death by: her father, Billy George Hall; step-son, Clifford Jones, IV; grandson, Toby Alan Jones; daughter-in-law, Lisa Jones; nephew, David Toler; niece, Sabra Patton; and bonus daughter, Jennifer Moorehouse.
