Barbara Othilia Walton

Barbara Othilia Walton passed away August 31, 2023 at home. She was born February 9, 1960 in Great Bend, Kansas, to Mike and Othilia Prather. She attended St. John’s College in Winfield, Kansas and taught in several Lutheran schools. She is survived by her mother, Othilia Prather of Perry, her husband William and son Kurt of the home, her daughter Dorothy of Oklahoma City, nieces and nephews Erin, Ross, Hannah and Benjamin, in-laws Jerry, Jane and Brian, and by other relatives and many friends. Barb is predeceased by her father and two sisters, Mary and Judy.

A public viewing will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Trout Funeral Home of Perry on Friday, September 8, 2023. The family will greet friends and family from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Trout Funeral Home of Perry on Friday, September 8, 2023.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Christ Lutheran Church in Perry with Pastor John Wackler officiating. Burial will follow at Richburg Cemetery, east of Perry.
