Arlene LaVonne Hutchinson, resident of Ponca City, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019. She was 81 years old. Arlene was born in Kaw City, Oklahoma on November 30, 1937 to Wes and Georgia Mapel. She married Ed Hutchinson in 1964 and was a homemaker in Kansas until 1991 when the family moved to Ponca City.

She will be missed by her family, daughter, Ojill Woods of Stockton, MO, daughter, Elizabeth Hutchinson of Chandler, OK, son, Edwin Hutchinson of Norman, OK, son, Leroy Hutchinson of Oxford, KS, son, Dave Hutchinson of Oxford, KS, son, John Hutchinson of Lemars, Iowa, brother, Bob Mapel of Arkansas City, KS, and numerous cousins, many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Hutchinson, mother, Georgia Mapel, father, Wes Mapel, sister, Joshephine Mapel, sister, Mary Lou Mapel.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
