Anna Lee Kugel, 21, of Tonkawa, OK, left this life on August 17, 2023. Viewing will be from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Trout Funeral Home in Tonkawa. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 25, 2023, at the St. Luke’s Church of the Nazarene, Ponca City with Pastor Josh Reese officiating. Burial will immediately follow at IOOF Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Tonkawa, 505 Thunderbird Rd, Tonkawa, OK 74653.Those unable to attend the Funeral Ceremony, may attend virtually on the Trout Funeral Home website, www.troutfuneralhome.com and click on the live-stream or toolbar icon on the top right corner after 9:45 AM.
Anna was born on June 10, 2002, in Ponca City, OK, to Bryan and Eve (Morgan) Kugel. She graduated from Tonkawa High School and managed the Hideaway Marina in Ponca City. Anna loved animals, always picking up a stray and loved her “lake family”. Anna was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing.
Anna is survived by: her father, Bryan Kugel and step-mother, Braxie Bixler of Tonkawa, OK; brother, Kash Kugel; step-sister, Mattilyn Bixler; grandmother, Cindy Ballard; great-grandparents, John and Marilyn Ballard; great-grandmother, Ann Vickery; great-aunts and uncles, John Ballard, Ginger Ballard, Bob and Shelley Morgan. She was preceded in death by: her mother, Eve; grandfather, Stephen Morgan; great-grandfather, Dr. Robert Morgan and great-grandmother, Bernice Dollarhide.
Casketbearers will be Chris Dally, Drew Hurst, Greg Schuermann, Jimmy Linton, John Linton and Mike Brzezinski. Honorary Casketbearers will be Alan Kieckbusch, Brandon Wilcoxson, John Ballard and Marvin Hembree.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fort Oakland Animal Shelter, 1 Rush Buffalo, Tonkawa, OK 74653.
