Albert Henry Ramhorst of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died June 9, 2017, in the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home, Blackwell, Oklahoma, at the age of 90 years.
Albert Henry Ramhorst was born on June 26, 1926 in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Louis William and Ida Marie (Boesch) Ramhorst. He attended Lost Creek School through the eighth grade. He married Ima Mae Lewis on March 3, 1950, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, and she preceded him in death on March 4, 2000. He worked at the Southwest Ice Company, Hazel Atlas Glass, in the modification shop at Boeing in Wichita, and as a custodian for Blackwell Public Schools for over 25 years. He enjoyed tinkering on everything, RC model planes and playing with his two grandsons.
He is survived by one son, Kenny Ramhorst and wife Jeanie of Blackwell; two grandsons, Cody Ramhorst of Blackwell, and Kyle Ramhorst and wife Miranda of Blackwell; one great granddaughter, Mae Ramhorst of Blackwell; and dear companion, Joyce Allen of Blackwell.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Arthur Ramhorst, Louis Ramhorst and Rudolph Ramhorst; and one sister, Hilda Kennedy.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at the Blackwell Cemetery, Blackwell, Oklahoma, with Rev. Mark Mozeik, St. John’s Lutheran Church, Blackwell, Oklahoma, officiating.
