Addie Belle was born on September 2, 1929 in Wynona, Oklahoma to Benjamin Franklin and Lilly (McKay) Cook .
Addie grew up in Orlando, OK, where she met the love of her life, Billie Neil Green. All during school, she would always tell Billie that she was going to marry him, which would send him home in a panic, crying to his momma, “That Addie Belle Cook is going to marry me!” She graduated from Orlando High School on May 13,1948 and on March 1, 1951, she married that love of her life. Together the couple raised two children, Billie Jr. and Susan. Before Addie Belle’s retirement, she was a stay at home mom, worked as a cashier at the local convenience store and cleaned houses. She was a good Christian woman, that loved her God and her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and going to any activity that they were a part of. She was an avid OU fan and couldn’t get enough of Football, Basketball and Softball. She was a huge George Strait Fan and enjoyed the many concerts that Bill and Pam took her to.
