Madonna Marie Todd, 73, of Sapulpa, OK, died on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 14, 2025, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Lamont Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 505 Thunderbird Rd, Tonkawa, OK 74653.
Madonna was born on Tuesday, May 1, 1951, in Ponca City, OK, to Earl John and Ethel Caroline (Russell) Spoon. She was a graduate from Lamont High of the Class of 1969. Madonna married William Brent Todd on May 17th 1970. She graduated from Phillips University with her degree in Education. Madonna taught for over 30 years in the Okmulgee and Cushing Public School districts. She was a long-time member of, and was very active in, the First Baptist Church of Tulsa. She was a member of the Oklahoma Retired Educators of Oklahoma. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, and spending time at the zoo. Most of all, she adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Madonna is survived by: her husband, William Todd, Sr. of Sapulpa, OK; twins, Charity Maulsby and her husband, Randy, of Claremore, OK, and Brent Todd, Jr. of Sapulpa, OK; daughter, Ashton Fitzgerald and her husband, Brent, of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Olivia Teague and her husband, Josh, Alaina Meisinger and her husband, Jack, of Owasso, OK, Oliver Fitzgerald of Orlando, FL; great-grandchildren, Layla and Landrie Teague; and brother, John Spoon and his wife, Connie, of Tonkawa, OK. Nephew Paul Spoon of Arcadia, OK and Niece Melanie Fitch and family of Edmond, OK. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be John Spoon, Paul Spoon, Brent Michael Fitzgerald, Brent Todd Jr., Jack Meisinger, and Randy Maulsby.
