Juanita Wardell Neuenschwander, 91, of Ponca City, OK, died on Saturday, February 15, 2025. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at St. Luke's Church of the Nazarene. Burial will immediately follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave., Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Juanita was born on Thursday, February 15, 1934, in Alva, OK, to Lawrence Perry and Zelma Leatha (Arb) Arndt. Juanita attended school in White Horse and Alva. She married Bert Neuenschwander on February 24, 1952, in Alva, OK. She spent her life being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was always willing to help out, especially with pot-luck dinners.
Juanita is survived by: daughters, Bernita Wathor of Newkirk, OK, Debra Lemmerman of Oklahoma City, OK, Tamara Donaldson and her husband, David, of Newkirk, OK; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Glenda Yarberry of Oklahoma City, OK, Nadine Painton of Fairview, OK; brothers, Lawrence Arndt and his wife, Sandi, of Creststone, CO, Gary Arndt and his wife, Linda, of Penrose, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Bert; parents, Lawrence and Zelma; and brothers, Lowell Arndt, Darrell Arndt, Wilford Arndt, Neal Arndt and Lyle Arndt, sister Charleen Herren; 2 sons-in-law, and a great-grandson.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Ramsey, Zachary Powell, Jonathan Buchanan, Josh Perkins, Levi Howell, and Michael Arndt. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Donaldson, James Ramsey, Shauna Wright, Brandi Buchanan, Brett Donaldson, and Chase Ramsey.
