Jacqueline Lively of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, at the Kansas Medical Center in Andover, Kansas, at the age of 62 years.
Jacqueline Lively was born on April 17, 1962, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Cleo and Veda (Roush) Luman. She grew up in Kansas City, MO and Odessa, Texas, where she graduated high school. She furthered her education by attending Cosmetology School in Odessa. In 1995 she moved to Ponca City, Oklahoma, where she worked as a nail technician. She married Pete Lively on July 2, 2004, in Tonkawa, Oklahoma, and they made Blackwell their home. She enjoyed cooking, baking and shopping, and of course socializing with friends. The loves of her life was her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Pete Lively of Blackwell; a daughter, Amanda Springer (Brett), of Ponca City; 3 sons, Michael Hicks (Heather), of Kansas City, Missouri; Jeremy Batchelor (Demetria), of Ponca City; Matt Lively (Ashton), of Blackwell; two sisters; Darlene and Arlene; nine grandchildren; Shelby, Jacob, Blake, Bretten, Brener, Tripp, Lyric, Rhett, and Stella; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be 9am – 1pm with Services beginning at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 17th in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel located at 120 W Padon Ave, Blackwell,Oklahoma,74631 with James W. Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Nardin, OK.
The family will serve as casketbearers.
