Gene Koch

Franklin Eugene "Gene" Koch, 86, of Ponca City, OK, died on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Ranch Drive Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Gene was born on Saturday, March 5, 1938, in Perry, OK, to Ivan Earl and Hilda (Voss) Koch. He Married Physllis Chiles on December 31, 1959, in Stillwater, OK, recently celebrating 65 wonderful years together. Gene loved to fish, and was a hard worker. He retired from Kay County. More than anything, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Gene is survived by: his wife Phyllis of the home; children, Debbie Miller and her husband, Roger, of Fredonia, KS, Earl Eugene Koch of Ponca City, OK, Diane Dewberry and Ken Johnson of Ponca City, OK; grandchildren, Brad Miller, Bobby Barnett, Nicole Brewer, Jeremy Wilson, Franklin Koch, Patrick Koch, Austin Miller, Kyra Gordon; great-grandchildren, Levi and Landon Barnett, Christlyn Barnett, Brently Wilson, Alanna Miller, Cavin Brewer, Walker Gordon, Emmet Koch, Jaxon Brewer, Waylnn Miller, Wrangler Miller; great-great-grandchildren Dalaynne siblings, Harley Kock and his wife, Kay, Sue Lowery and husband Jerry, Glennice Diebold; sisters-in-law, Kay Moore, and Charlotte Stephens; many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
