Darrell Jackson
August 12, 1959 — March 19, 2025
Darrell Lee Jackson of Red Rock, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on March 19th, 2025, at the age of 65. He was born to Donald Jackson and Darlene Hollis in Oklahoma City on August 12th, 1959.
Funeral Services for Darrell Jackson will be held on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 at Otoe Baptist Church at 2:00 pm, following the traditional noon feast. Graveside service will follow at Otoe-Missouria Tribal Cemetery.
Darrell grew up in Red Rock under the care of his loving Grandparents; Annie Burgess Jones and Arthur “Jonsie” Jones. Darrell attended the Red Rock School for his education. After his schooling was complete, he moved to Blanchard, Oklahoma and worked for Double Life for 25 years. During his time in Blanchard Darrell met his companion, Sherri Hidlebaugh. Together they enjoyed 27 years of making memories. He eventually found himself back home in Red Rock.
Darrell could always be found fishing at his local fishing hole or working on a car in his spare time.
Darrell is survived by his daughter; Misti Dawn White, 3 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter. His siblings; Reva Neal and Steve Noriega of Red Rock, Donnita Ramsey and husband Fred of Guthrie, Dorreta Ramirez and husband Rudy of Norman, Janet Evans and husband Bobby of Guthrie, David Shaffer and wife Karen of Longview, Texas, Kathey White-Ferrell and husband Chris of Moore, along with numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Sherri Hidlebaugh, son, Jess Arthur Jackson, both parents and grandparents, and siblings; Kenny Neal, Gerald Shaffer, Dennis “DJ” Jackson.
