He was born on May 3, 1941, in Cushing, Oklahoma to Eldin and Nora Bradley. Curtis is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Judy Bradley; daughter Kristi Bradley-Fowler (Chris) of Owasso, OK, son Kevin Bradley (Sara) of Edmond, OK; grandchildren FP, Jack, Nolan, and Charlotte, and his sisters Marilyn Pearce of Borger, TX and Judy Bradley Bates of Katy, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and many uncles and aunts including his beloved uncle Virgil, and his wife Jean Bradley.

Curtis grew up in Cushing, Oklahoma, attending Happy Valley Elementary and graduating from Cushing High School in 1959. He began his college education at Oklahoma State University but left in 1963 to pursue a career with Amoco Oil. Curtis later returned to OSU and completed his accounting degree in 1970, where he met Judy, the love of his life.

He enjoyed a distinguished career with Conoco, which took him and his family from Indiana, to Houston, to Oklahoma City, and finally Ponca City, Oklahoma where his kids were raised. He worked with Conoco for over 35 years, holding various accounting roles before retiring in December 2003.

A lifelong gardener, Curtis had a special passion for growing vegetables and caring for his beloved rose garden. He loved sharing the fruits of his labor with friends and neighbors. Curtis was also a dedicated Oklahoma State University sports fan and relished hosting football tailgates for family, friends, and friends of friends; all were welcome at his tailgate. In addition, Curtis was a dedicated fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, and he enjoyed following the team every evening throughout the years.

Curtis was deeply involved in the Ponca City community through his membership in the Presbyterian Church and the Noon Lions Club. He served as treasurer for both organizations for many years and received the Lion of the Year award and the Melvin Jones award for his dedicated service. His commitment to helping others and his strong work ethic were central to who he was.

Family was at the heart of Curtis’s life. He was incredibly proud of his children, Kristi and Kevin, and cherished supporting them in all their endeavors. Curtis enjoyed square dancing with Judy, traveling together in their RV, and attending OSU sporting events. He especially loved being with his grandchildren, and even in his final days, his face would light up whenever they were near.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Ponca City Noon Lion's Club, PO Box 532, Ponca City, OK 74602, or a charity of your choice.
