It’s time for the OBI All American Fish Fry Blood Drive, in memory of  Sean A. Anderson, a radio personality at Team Radio for many years and a big supporter of OBI. Sean saw the importance of  helping others through blood donation.

This Friday, June 28, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Our Blood Institute will have the 18th Annual All American Fish Fry blood drive at Hospice of North Central Oklahoma in the Carolyn Renfrow Event Center at 445 Fairview.
Each blood donor who signs up on Facebook will trigger a monetary donation to be given to The Opportunity Center of Ponca City, a non-profit that was chosen by Sean Anderson’s daughters Amber and Courtney to receive the money. You don’t have to have an appointment but it does help you get in and out faster if you have one. Find the All American Fish Fry Blood Drive on Facebook, scan the QR code to make your appointment and when you donate blood, $15 will be donated to The Opportunity Center in Ponca City. (Donation not made if you sign up at the OBI website.)
Please consider giving blood at this event and support the Opportunity Center while helping save lives.
Over 100 door prizes provided by the numerous sponsors will be given to donors. Every donor will also receive an All-American OBI t-shirt, a lawn chair, a voucher ticket of their choice to either Frontier City or Hurricane Harbor, and a delicious catfish dinner prepared by Mark Sanders, and the fish fry crew.
Each blood donation can save up to three lives. 1 in 3 people will need a blood product in their lifetime and it takes nearly 1,200 donors a day to keep up with the demand for blood in Oklahoma.
You don’t have to have an appointment but it does help you get in and out faster if you have one and it triggers the donation to the Opportunity Center.
Team Radio will be at the event and broadcast live from noon to 4:00 pm on 101 Country 100.7 FM KPNC.
If you can, donate blood and help save lives.
