NOC President’s Leadership Council Students Attend Annual PLC Retreat

Thirty-two students attended the event from NOC Stillwater, Enid, and Tonkawa.

Students checked in for the morning and played team building games with Dr. Marsh Howard, Vice President for Stillwater.

Next on the agenda was “Me in a Box,” an opportunity for students to describe themselves with items in a shoe box.

NOC President Dr. Clark Harris then addressed the students about their roles as leaders for the NOC student community.

After lunch, the students had break-out sessions with area leaders John Bartley, Kelsey Lee, and Rose Bonjour.

The PLC Scholarship is a $28,000 two-year scholarship applied toward tuition, fees, books, on-campus resident housing and meal plan. Applicants must maintain at least a 3.25 grade-point average per semester and enroll in 12 credit hours each semester in an associate degree program.

Enid students include Luella Mitchell, Covington-Douglas, Cashton Hammock, Enid; Kimberly Boles. Enid; Danielle Buttram, Garber; Aydan Voitik, Enid; Grant Biggers, Enid; Michael Donaldson, Enid; Noah Weichbrodt, Stillwater; Whitley Cash, Laverne; Megan Fultz, Catoosa; Jacob Lyons, Enid; Jake Wolfinbarger, Bixby; Jenna Thomas, Shattuck; Miles Lock; Edmond; Cayla Hoch, Lawton; Ethan Fritts, Edmond; and Emily Gregory, Sallisaw.
