Northern Oklahoma College is inviting you to join them for the Grand Opening of the Pickens Learning Commons on Wednesday, October 12, at 3:30 pm at the NOC Library.
The Pickens Learning Commons is a great student learning space. There are study areas, a tutoring center, library services, testing center, career and transfer services and the Cultural Engagement Center. It also has improved technology.
Check out the art collection with over 80 pieces at the Pickens Learning Commons, that includes the very large 100 foot by 20 foot mural by artist Yatika Starr Fields.
President of Northern Oklahoma College, Dr. Clark Harris said, “This is one of the better art galleries in Northern Oklahoma. It is a beautiful space that will be a delight to our students and our communities. The good news is this transformation of the library has all been accomplished with external funding. “
For more information call 580-628-6200 or stop by NOC at 1220 East Grand in Tonkawa.
