No school on Friday; police to give safety trainining to staff on active shooter situations

The Ponca City Police Department will provide safety training for all Ponca City Public Schools certified staff on Friday, March 16, in the West Middle School Auditorium.

The training session begins at 8:30 a.m. and will provide information on options and strategies to use in the event of an active shooter on campus.

March 16 has been designated on the district calendar as a “No School” professional development day for staff.
