Newkirk homicide victim identified

NEWKIRK — Kay County Undersheriff Sean Grigsba identified the victim of Saturday’s homicide in Newkirk as Michele Gentry, 53.
Gentry’s body was located in her home at 514 West Eleventh Street Saturday afternoon.
Brock Ryan Wilkins, 36, was booked into the Kay County jail Sunday morning for first degree murder in connection with the homicide.
