New Year’s Day stabbing reported

Ponca City Police arrested 26-year-old Juan Costullo Thursday in connection with a stabbing incident reported after 11 a.m. New Year’s Day.

The victim, 30 year old Dustin Kent, along with Costullo and others were in a home in the 1600 block of South 10th Street when the conflict occurred, police spokeswoman Sherry Bowers reported.

Following the stabbing, Kent was driven to a residence in the 400 block of South Palm Street. Kent was transported by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
