New Washington Pre-K Principal Named

Casey Wilson has been named the new principal of the Washington Pre-K Center, pending approval from the Ponca City Board of Education.
Casey received a bachelor’s degree in education from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 2011, a master’s degree in school counseling and administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2020 and is currently seeking a Doctorate in Education Leadership from Oklahoma State University.
She was an elementary teacher for Perry Public Schools from 2018-2020, served as a 504 coordinator and counselor in 2020-2023 and was a teacher at Will Rogers Elementary for Stillwater Public Schools during the 2023-2024 school year. She has certifications for Elementary Education, School Counseling, Elementary Principal and Secondary Principal.
“I am extremely honored to have the opportunity to serve the students, staff and families at the Washington Pre-K Center,” said Wilson. “I’m excited to join a community where we can empower students to meet their full potential. I have no doubt an incredible school year is upon us!”
