The Osage Nation has put these beautiful signs up designating the Osage Nation Heritage Trail.

The trail runs from Ponca City to Bartlesville, Ponca City Chamber of Commerce President Rich Cantillon said.

“This is very exciting.  People love to travel highway trails.  This heritage trail is filled with beauty and incredible history.  Ponca City, Pawhuska and Bartlesville all have a story to tell that is both fascinating and unique to Oklahoma,” Cantillon said.

The Osage Nation has put three of these signs along the highway trail.  This sign is at the beginning of Joe Colby Road, just east of Ponca City.
