The Ponca City Board of Commissioners recently approved the purchase of three 2017 Dodge Charger police cars from Vance Motor Fleet in the amount of $65,091.

Police Chief Don Bohon submitted quotes from several vendors and told commissioners Vance’s price was significantly lower. The cars were already on a lot at Vance ready for delivery, instead of the usual 12-week wait for delivery.

On Friday, Bohon said the new cars will be here this week.  Equipment is being ordered and should be in soon also.
