New Electric Meters to be Installed in Ponca City

Contractors Installing New Meters

PONCA CITY  — The City of Ponca City has contracted with Allegiant Utility Services to install new electric meters on houses and businesses beginning Tuesday, Aug. 17.

The technicians will be driving vehicles with identification on the door stating that they are “Contractors Working for Ponca City Energy”. The technicians will wear badges identifying themselves with Ponca City Energy and Allegiant Utility Services. This project will take approximately 2 months to complete.

If the contractor needs to talk with a resident who is not home, they will leave a door hanger, and the resident can call the number listed to talk with the technician.
