Mill and Overlay Project to Start Soon on South Avenue and Mockingbird Drive

A project to mill and overlay the asphalt surface on South Avenue, from 14th Street to 610’ east, and on Mockingbird Drive, from Pecan Road to 473’ east, will begin on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. Traffic on both streets will be controlled by flaggers and eastbound South Avenue traffic may be detoured for a short period during some phases of the operations.

The project is being done by Evans and Associates Construction Company and is expected to take two weeks to complete. Drivers are urged to exercise additional caution during these projects especially in the vicinity of workers and equipment.
