Medical marijuana petition travels through Ponca City

Yesterday Poncan’s had the opportunity to sign a petition for medical marijuana. Members of Oklahomans for Health were staked out in front of the library and they weren’t hard to miss. William Patrick Jones, who is from Cleveland and Oklahoma County’s organizer is dancing on the sidewalk near the tent where pens await signers hands.

"We’re trying to gather signatures to get medical marijuana on the November ballot so that Oklahoman’s can vote whether they want it or not," Jones said.

Any registered voter is eligible to sign the petition and if you aren’t registered Jones has voter registration forms with him today.
