Martin Luther King holiday Monday

The City of Ponca City will observe Martin Luther King Day on Monday as a city holiday. City offices will be closed.

Residential refuse will not be picked up Monday. Service resumes Tuesday.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee will hold two events in honor of the legacy of King. A musical celebration will be held at the Attucks Community Center at 6 p.m. Saturday and an Interfaith Prayer Breakfast will be held at the center at 8 a.m. Monday. The public is invited to both events.
