The Marland Gala begins at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 at the Marland Mansion.
Attire is black tie. A limited number of tickets are $50 and are available at the Marland Mansion and at the Bag Lady.
A Gala ticket will include a free glass of champagne upon arrival, one free drink ticket, hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and music upstairs by Holly Pert.
The Wavetones will be playing downstairs. The Wavetones are an eight-piece dance band including a three-piece horn section. They play Big Band classics as well as great dance songs from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s.
Additional activities throughout the evening include a bourbon and cigar lounge for an additional $20; a three-item silent auction, featuring amazing "experience" packages; a five-item raffle, featuring great prizes like an iPad Air and more.
The Gala will benefit the Marland Mansion Estate Foundation whose mission is to restore and preserve the historic, architectural landmark and to educate people on the E.W. Marland story.
