Tax preparations at the library
AARP Tax preparers continue to be at the library. Things to remember to bring:
¨ All income documents
¨ Last year’s tax forms and this year’s tax forms ¨ W-2, W-2G, 1099 (misc. SSA. etc.) ¨ Schedule A long form – itemize Medical bills (DR., Rx, Etc.) ¨ Real estate tax receipt ¨ Mortgage interest ¨ Donation (church, charity, etc.) |
¨ Photo Identification: Driver’s License, Military ID, Passport
¨ Social Security Card (must have for everybody on return) ¨ Other Documents ¨ 1098-E (Student Loan Interest), ¨ 1098-T (Tuition Statements), ¨ Daycare Expense (must have provider’s name, address, & EIN) |

Thursday, March 1
Origami: Constellation Luminary & Galaxy Star Boxes
3:00-5:30 pm
Suitable for ages 8 and older unless children are accompanied by a guardian. This is a free come and go program. Self-guided origami and materials will be provided. Please be aware that some of the instructions might be hard to follow for younger participants. Patrons who participate will be guided by two library staff instructors.

Lapsit Storytime is geared to help with early literacy skills. Toddlers and their parents or guardians will have fun singing songs, sensory bins, and discovering new books.
Saturday, March 3
Teen Movie Maker Club

Ages 11-18
Class Size: 10
Teens will learn how to storyboard, take pictures and edit the pictures to make a stop-action movie. Then teens will watch the films they created with light refreshments.

OKC Zoo: Are You Buggin?

“One warm day, from a tiny egg a little cricket was born.” Thus begins the story of “The Very Quiet Cricket” by Eric Carle. Springtime means little bugs are popping out all over, and the Oklahoma City Zoo wants you to come along on a quiet but exciting journey with cricket into his world. Bugs are pollinators, they power the food chain, and keep our world healthy. In this program, you’ll meet an amazing bug and animals who depend on these crawly critters for food and even friendship.
