A man is injured after being shot at a shopping center overnight in Tulsa, according to police.

The incident happened around 3:40 a.m. Friday near 61st and Memorial at the Bodega Boyz Dispensary in the Manchester Square Shopping Center, police said.

Officers said they received a call that someone had been shot multiple times at the dispensary and that an unknown man was trying to rob the store.

Police said they arrived on the scene and found a man lying on the sidewalk directly in front of the business. The man who was shot was wearing a ski mask over his face, with a hoodie pulled over his head, officers said.

Through their investigation, officers said they learned that the business had been burglarized Thursday night, so an employee and his girlfriend were staying the night inside the business.
